AC Gold Invest in IOSSH and Removal of Asbestos Training
AC Gold has continued its commitment to improving its impressive track record in health and safety by investing in the IOSH Managing Safety course as well as sending 4 of its team through a course on the Removal of Non-Licensable Asbestos.
The company has made the commitment to send all of its supervisory and management team on the IOSH Managing Safety programmes and supervisor, Alex Eccles was the first team member to successfully graduate from the 5 day course.
AC Gold’s Managing Director, Alasdair Campbell, commented,
“The programme has already made a real impact on Alex’s approach to work and he now delivers projects with a real confidence in his ability to identify and deal quickly with potential risks and hazards.”
AC Gold also responded to the needs of a client who came across asbestos fuse linings in several of its homes as part of its refurbishment programme and needed a reliable contractor to deal with the situation.
The company sent 4 of its team on a Removal of Non-Licensable Asbestos course to enable them to safely carry out the necessary works.
Alasdair continued,
“We have always seen training as a way of improving our business and the service we provide to our clients. Despite these tough economic conditions, we believe that training is a real investment in the future growth of the company and we are confident that our approach will make us even stronger.”
The investment demonstrates the importance placed by AC Gold’s management team and its focus on creating a real health and safety culture that will improve service to clients and deliver bottom line benefits.
