The company has continued to grow through its commitment to developing a strong partnership approach with its client base and it is predicting that clients will be placing an even greater emphasis on these areas in the coming years.
Whilst AC Gold already have high standards in the area of sustainability and waste management, the company believes there will always be room for improvement in its procurement practices, the technology it installs, its transport policies and its waste management processes both on site and at their Stirling headquarters.
AC Gold’s Managing Director, Alasdair Campbell, said
“We have taken great strides in recent years to reduce the carbon footprint of the company, however, we feel that it is the right time to take stock and look at how we can improve our current systems.”
He continued,
“It’s not only a question of aligning our values with those of our clients, it’s about creating a lean business that is running at peak performance with minimal waste so that we can continue to be one of the most competitive contractors in Scotland.”
AC Gold plans to approach all its clients to understand and assess their sustainability policies and procedures as well as work with leading organisations to improve its existing approach.
